Outer Circle has reached completion, marking a major milestone within the broader Yarra Bend masterplan and the continued transformation of Alphington into a connected, landscape-led urban neighbourhood. As the first delivered stage within our portion of the precinct, the project establishes a clear vision for the future of Yarra Bend.
Comprising four residential buildings, Outer Circle reflects a narrative of transformation that draws from the site’s industrial past and its evolving relationship with the Yarra River. Robust, confident forms at the lower levels reference the directness of former industrial structures, while lighter glazed volumes above introduce a more contemporary expression that responds to light, outlook, and landscape.
The project is deeply connected to its setting. The alignment of the historic Outer Circle railway has been reimagined as the Paper Trail, a new linear park that runs through the heart of the development, linking buildings, open space, and community amenities. Landscaped areas shift from lush and immersive to more open and urban in character, creating a varied and engaging public realm. Wellness and lifestyle are central to the resident experience, with spaces designed to support rest, movement, and connection to nature.
The completion of Outer Circle signals the successful realisation of a key stage in Yarra Bend’s evolution. We thank our client for their collaboration and commitment in bringing this vision to life.
