Marina Mirage has officially launched to market, marking a significant new chapter for one of the Gold Coast’s most established waterfront destinations. Designed by our studio, the redevelopment of Marina Mirage reimagines the precinct as a contemporary lifestyle and retail hub grounded in both place and cultural narrative.
The architectural concept draws on the flowing geometry of the oyster shell, a form closely tied to the identity of the Gold Coast’s coastal environment. This influence is expressed through soft, layered building forms and articulated façades that capture light, texture, and movement. The design responds to its marine setting while introducing a refined and cohesive visual language across the precinct.
Positioned along the Southport Spit, the project balances coastal openness with a more urban character. Expansive terraces, curated retail tenancies, and elevated dining experiences are oriented toward the Broadwater, strengthening visual and physical connections to the water. Public realm strategies focus on permeability and access, with new pedestrian links and landscaped promenades that encourage movement through the site. The project’s release to market reflects strong confidence in the continued growth of the Gold Coast and positions Marina Mirage as a leading waterfront destination.
We would like to acknowledge and thank our client the Makris Group for their trust, collaboration, and shared vision in bringing this project forward.
