We know that the best designed precincts make for closely knit and communities that are miles ahead of fortress suburbia.

Together with AVJennings, the residences we’ve designed are the pinnacle of multi-level living, but also designed to complement the local community. That’s important in Williamstown because it’s less a suburb of Melbourne than it is a cosy, seaside town.
This hamlet was bound together by its historical connection to the Williamstown Dockyard. We’ve crafted Waterline Place's façade as a nod to what was once Australia’s premier shipbuilding facility. It’s sinuous form and peaked corners recall a ship’s bow-wave cutting through the water.
We acknowledge the Great Aussie Dream of a quarter-acre-block in the ‘burbs is not what it used to be. Our answer? Why keep going out, when you can go up?
We’ve found a way of doing it well so that vertical living doesn’t feel like a compromise. People who visit will realise that apartments are better than houses. What we’ve created within Waterline Place's walls also offers a fresh way to foster the type of community living experienced on the neighbourly streets of Williamstown. So in Waterline Place we’ve killed off the ubiquitous shotgun corridor. One lift lobby serves just four apartments, so these neighbours are really going to get to know each other.
Personalised, uncompromising residences are multi-generational. These are family homes that adapt to accommodate every variant of the modern Australian household.
With the way we’ve designed the floorplans to maximise the double aspect, panoramic vistas of Port Phillip Bay and the CBD. Here, there are all the benefits of living in a house, and none of the negatives. No gutters to clean out… No lawns to mow… And no strangers to turn away from your doorstep on a Saturday morning.
So adaptable floorplans mean buyers can drop from three to two bedrooms to accommodate a expansive living space with dual views across the water, if that’s what takes their fancy. That’s important. Because AVJennings and Fraser & Partners are in the business of creating communities. It’s all in the details.
